About me

My name is Paul Jenkins and I've been fortunate to have so far visited 125 countries on this wonderful planet, and these are in orange on the map to the left.

Some of this has been through my work in the Energy Resources business, which took me to Saudi Arabia, Norway, Russia (Siberia) and India, but the vast majority of my travels has been funded by me.

My wanderlust began at the tender age of 12 with a school trip from the UK to Boulougne, and was followed three years later when I was lucky enough to be selected for a school cruise with 1000 other school kids from my area....we sailed from Southampton and visited Lisbon, Madeira, Tangier and Gibraltar....this changed my outlook and my life for ever.

When I'm not exploring Museums, I'm usually found visiting local cake and coffee shops in whatever city I'm in and making notes as to Thebes cakes I've found.....
